Dan Sommers is a Certified Funds Specialist with over 40 years of experience helping people build and protect wealth in the insurance and investments industries. Over his 46 years in the insurance industry, Dan earned many awards including being a perennial Presidents Club winner, and a two-time District Manager of the year. In 2002, Dan and 3 partners formed ESI Financial, and shortly after, the firm was recognized nationally as the  “Best All Around Agency” for Security Financial Life Insurance Company.

In 2004, Dan became an Endorsed Local Provider for investments and long-term care insurance in the state of Indiana for Dave Ramsey Solutions and held that distinction for many years. While no longer officially affiliated with Ramsey Solutions, Dan continues to practice the principles of having the heart of a teacher and making investing approachable and easy to understand. Throughout his career, Dan has helped thousands of clients reach their financial goals. He merged with The Spectrum Financial Group in 2024, and holds a Series 6, 7, 24, 51 & 63. He is also registered in 29 states.

Dan is a graduate of Purdue University and has two grown children and nine grandchildren.
